I'm Alyssa Pressler and I'm a professional storyteller with a craving for adventure. As a journalist, my passion is finding interesting, important and life-changing stories to share with the world. I'm currently the court and general assignment reporter at The Gaston Gazette, a daily print newspaper based out of Gastonia, North Carolina. I often spend my days sitting in the court bench seats, reporting on major plea deals, trials and first appearances. Other days you may catch me talking with local business owners or community leaders about major or touching community events. I graduated from the Rochester Institute of Technology in May, 2016 with degrees in Journalism and International & Global Studies. Journalism is my passion, and you'll find I have broad experience telling a variety of stories in a diverse manner. I'm a fervent reporter with a love for learning and growing in my craft.
